Serena Xiao

Serena Xiao joined Compass' New York office as an Analyst in July 2010.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Xiao completed an internship as an Analyst in the investment banking division of Bank of Communications International in Hong Kong, where she gained experience in M&A, IPO and financial advisory services. She previously interned as an Analyst in the risk management department of Bank of China International in Hong Kong.
Ms. Xiao received an M.Sc. degree in quantitative and computational finance from Georgia Institute of Technology. As an undergraduate, she completed a First Class B.B.A. degree from the University of Hong Kong, with a major in finance and second concentration in accounting.
During her time in college, Ms. Xiao participated in study abroad programs with the University of Richmond and the Université Catholique de Lille in France. She has lived and studied in Mainland China, Hong Kong and the U.K.
Ms Xiao is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese Chinese.
