Robert Pfeiffer is a Partner in Compass' London office, and is responsible for Compass' European business. He joined the firm as a Principal in May 2004.
Mr. Pfeiffer led the Compass team advising Mecom in the acquisition of Berliner Verlag by Mecom and Veronis Suhler Stevenson (VSS), the first ever foreign private equity acquisition of a German newspaper publisher. His transaction experience includes advisory assignments with the BBC, Gruhner+Jahr, Mecom, Telegraaf Media Groep, Siemens, GE/NBC, Bonduelle, and Generali, among others, working on public and private transactions in a number of sectors.
Mr. Pfeiffer was previously a Principal with Ermgassen & Co., where he was responsible for cross-border European M&A advice. Prior to Ermgassen & Co., Mr. Pfeiffer worked with ABN AMRO's Corporate Finance team in London and Amsterdam and, before ABN AMRO, was a member of Citibank's Corporate Finance Team in London and Frankfurt.
Mr. Pfeiffer holds a Diplôme en gestion d'entreprise (Finance) from Switzerland's University of Lausanne, and an M.Sc. degree from the London School of Economics.
