Neil Ghosh is a Vice President in Compass Advisers' New York office. He joined the firm as a Senior Associate in April 2009.
Prior to Compass, Mr. Ghosh was an Associate in the Global Consumer and Retail Group at Merrill Lynch in New York. While at Merrill Lynch, Mr. Ghosh worked on complex strategic and financial advisory assignments including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyout and capital raising for a broad range of clients across the food, beverage, household/personal care and education sectors. Before Merrill Lynch, Mr. Ghosh was an Investment Banking Associate at RBC Capital Markets in New York, where he worked across industry groups including industrials, media and technology.
Mr. Ghosh began his career as a strategy consultant for Bennett, Coleman and Company, India's largest media conglomerate. While at Bennett, Coleman and Company, he worked on cross-functional projects with a particular focus on market development and competition analysis.
Mr. Ghosh earned a B.Com. degree in accounting with honors from Calcutta University. He received an M.B.A. from Boston University, where he was a recipient of the Dean's Achievement Scholarship.
