Thomas Andrieu is a Vice President in Compass Advisers' London office. He joined the firm in 2004 as an Associate.
Prior to joining Compass Advisers, Mr. Andrieu worked as an Associate at London‑based independent German corporate finance advisory firm Ermgassen & Co., where he participated in transactions spanning various industries including media, food & beverage, industrial/manufacturing, and technology.
Mr. Andrieu's transaction experience includes advisory assignments with 2Entertain, Bertelsmann, BBC Worldwide, M. DuMont Schauberg, Gruner+Jahr, Independent News and Media, Mecom, Telegraaf Media Groep, Von Holtzbrinck, Zelnick Media, AMEC, Siemens, Bonduelle, and with private equity groups Cinven, Candover, Compass Partners and 3i among others, working on public and private transactions in a number of sectors. Mr. Andrieu worked on the acquisition of Berliner Verlag by Mecom and Veronis Suhler Stevenson (VSS), the first ever foreign private equity acquisition of a German newspaper publisher.
Mr. Andrieu graduated with honors from a French Business School (Grande École), where he studied economics, finance, and strategic analysis. Simultaneously, he obtained a Chartered Accountancy degree.
